Hi, I’m Josh

I’ve always been curious about designing and building. I am intrigued by how it all works together. I started on a cabinet shop floor at a retail manufacturing company. This exposed me to how the engineering process relates to the building process. I was given the opportunity to move to the engineering dept as a liaison to the shop floor. I showed an aptitude for the engineering and manufacturing processes and could help remove some of the friction between concept and final product. From there, I transitioned into full-time design engineering. I’ve found that the experience I had of working with the products on the shop floor gives me a better understanding than most draft service providers of each part of the process from design delivery.

In 2021 I opened PNW CAD Services to focus on helping small businesses that have limited in-house drafting bandwidth to streamline and expedite their projects.

I live with my wife in Shoreline, WA and we find ourselves camping every minimally dreary PNW weekend available. I often find myself fireside in the woods day dreaming about my next creative project.
